Chosen as one of the Mayor’s charities in 2023

Hello fellow Towcestrians and Village residents,

Wow, look at this! We were recently presented with a cheque for £2350 by the outgoing Mayor of Towcester, David Tarbun. Here is a picture of him presenting it to our Operations Manager, Emma Killick.

We can’t thank you enough for this contribution, and we know that lots of people, doing lots of different things were involved in raising this money, so we’d like to thank them too.

Because the Food Bank is staffed by volunteers, the money (every penny) goes directly to helping local people in crisis. Particularly, it helps us plug gaps in food donations so that we can ensure that everyone who needs it has balanced food to support them.

So we would like to thank you again for donating this money to us, for all your efforts as Mayor, and wish you all the best for the future.
